How to connect Xbox controller with Android

This process depends on the Bluetooth connection and pairing technology of the two devices. To get started, go to Settings "Settings" your Android device, then press Option Connected Devices "Connected Devices" to open the Bluetooth pairing preferences.

On the next page, click on Pair New Device option.

Now it's time to put your Xbox controller into pairing mode. Keep your finger pressed against the pairing button on the console until the Xbox button starts flashing.

You will find the pairing button on the top of the controller, just between the LB button and the USB Type-C charging port.

We are now at the important step, which is to connect the console with Android. On the latter, click on the Xbox Wireless Controller option "Xbox Wireless Controller", which is the name of your console.

The Xbox controller will be directly connected to Android wirelessly. Now you can play and control any game with this controller and enjoy very cool gaming experience. Just keep in mind that you need to be playing a game that supports Xbox controller in order to play it.

Also, be aware that some games do not allow you to control the menus via the Xbox console, while they allow you to use an in-game console. This means that you may not always be able to scroll through pages and menus or game preferences using your Xbox console.

At any time, you can unpair your Xbox controller from your Android phone by turning off Bluetooth only from the Shortcuts interface.
