The digital terrestrial television system, or DTT, is a television transmission technology introduced from 2005. DTT completely replaced analogue television in 2011 and provides access to a choice of 26 free television channels.
How to receive DTT channels?
Receive DTT channels via an antenna.
There are several ways to receive DTT. The most classic way to receive DTT channels is via an antenna and a DTT adapter. The antenna can be an indoor antenna or an outdoor antenna. The TNT adapter is integrated into most recent televisions.
Access to DTT via satellite
In areas with poor terrestrial coverage, DTT reception through an antenna may be difficult or impossible. Otherwise, choose a satellite reception offer (for example Fransat or TNT Sat). This reception mode requires the installation of a satellite dish and the purchase of a suitable decoder with an access card.
Subscribe to a television offer with a supplier that also includes DTT.In addition, most Internet boxes include a TV service that automatically gives access to DTT channels.
